Terms and Conditions for Instant Admission Cum Scholarship Test (iACST)

  1. Student/parent/guardian hereby declare that at the time of filling the application form, his/her age is 18 years or above and have read, understood and accept the Terms and Conditions for iACST as mentioned herein.
  2. I understand and agree that the personal information will be collected by Aakash Educational Services Limited (“AESL/Company”) while submitting the registration form and the personal information may be used or stored by the Company as mentioned under the Company’s Privacy Policy accessible at https://www.aakash.ac.in/privacypolicy. I have read and agree to the Company’s Privacy Policy in its entirety.
  3. Eigibility Criteria: Any student who is pursuing 7th class or above from any government recognised or affiliated school is eligible for taking the iACST exam.
  4. It is mandatory for the student/ parent/ guardian to fill in all the required details as requested in the registration form provided by the Company. In case of incomplete details provided by the student/ parent/ guardian, such registration form will not be considered for iACST.
  5. Student/ parent/ guardian must provide their mobile number & e-mail id. The result of iACST or any other communication or information will be sent by the Company through SMS and/or e-mail on such mobile number and e-mail id provided to the Company by the student/ parent/ guardian at the time of filling the Registration form. Company shall not be responsible if student/ parent/ guardian does not receive any such information regarding iACST or other such important communication due to incorrect or invalid mobile number/ e-mail id provided by the student/ parent/ guardian at the time of filling the Registration form.
  6. On successful enrolment of a student for attempting online tests, student shall be provided with a username and password through SMS and/or e-mail on such mobile number and e-mail id provided to the Company by the student/ parent/ guardian at the time of filling the Registration form.
  7. A student is eligible to give 2 attempts for iACST in an academic year by using one mobile number.
  8. The percentage of scholarship offered under iACST exam result is applicable only on the components of classroom fee and tuition fee and not applicable on other components including but not limited to registration fee, admission fee, tech and exam fee. For detailed iACST scholarship criteria student/parent/guardian shall contact their nearest AESL branch.
  9. The Scholarship is applicable only on 1, 2, 3 & 4- Year Integrated classroom courses for NEET, JEE and Foundations offered by the Company and not otherwise.
  10. Final discretion pertaining to the grant and amount of scholarship under iACST shall remain vested with the management of the Company only.
  11. IACST students can enrol in Company’s available classroom batches for conducting classes on regular weekdays/ weekends.
  12. If any student fails in his/her school exam, the iACST scholarship will be withdrawn & the student will be disqualified from the program.
  13. The cut-off score for scholarship eligibility shall be decided by the management of AESL at the time of declaration of result of iACST.
  14. AESL reserves the right to retest any student in iACST in offline mode also before confirming the validity of the scholarship. The student agrees to appear again in iACST in offline mode as & when required by AESL and shall not be entitled to claim scholarship in case of failure to appear again in iACST in offline mode.
  15. Student/ parent/ guardian hereby authorize the Company and/or its service provider(s) to reach out with transactional/promotional/ updates or other information on whatsapp/ email/ mobile number.
  16. Wherein a student has been granted scholarship through iACST, the student must ensure that during the classroom program at the branch/centre of the Company, the student must meet the following requirements failing which his/her scholarship will be revoked with immediate effect without any prior notice from the Company to the student/ parent/ guardian. The decision of the management of the Company shall be final and binding on the student/ parent/ guardian;
    • ATTENDANCE: The attendance of the student in the coaching class should not drop below 85% throughout the classroom program. It is mandatory for a student under this program to write all his/her class test papers conducted by the Company in his/her batch.
    • TEST MARKS: The students will be required to maintain a minimum of 65% marks in their regular assessment tests (for medical aspirants & class VIII / IX / X students) and 60% marks in their regular assessment tests (for engineering aspirants).
    • Any act of indiscipline by the student brought to the notice of the administration of the Company in the classroom centre, will not be accepted. A warning will be issued to such students, offering them another chance to improve their behaviour. Despite warning, if the student does not alter his/her attitude and commits another act of indiscipline, his/her scholarship under iACST program will be revoked with immediate effect.
    • In case a student misbehaves/ gets involved in negative activities like teasing, indiscipline, use of abusive languages, etc, he/she can be rusticated by the Centre Head and fee paid shall not be refunded in such cases.
    • If a student keeps himself/herself absent from the classes for a period of 10 days without prior permission from the Centre Head, then a warning letter will be issued against him/her and despite the warning letter, if the student continues to default further and does not change his/her attitude, then the scholarship under iACST program of such student will be revoked with immediate effect.
    • If a student continues to remain absent for more than two weeks due to health issues or any other reason without prior permission from the Centre Head, his/her scholarship under iACST program will be revoked with immediate effect.
  17. In case, any dispute or difference arises between student(s) / parent(s) and the Company regarding the interpretation of these terms and conditions, non-payment of any claim or any dispute arising out of or in pursuant to these terms and conditions, the same shall be referred to sole arbitrator who shall be appointed by mutual consent of the parties. The proceedings shall be conducted at Delhi under the provisions of Arbitration & Conciliation Act and the Courts at Delhi only shall have the jurisdiction over the matter and/or for enforcement as the case may be. The Courts at Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction (subject to the arbitration proceedings which are to be also conducted at Delhi) over any or all disputes arising out of these terms and conditions and the parties hereby submit themselves to the jurisdiction of such Courts and/or Tribunals.
  18. The student/ parent/ guardian hereby undertakes that they have read, understood and agrees to the terms and conditions of the Company as mentioned on https://www.aakash.ac.in/termsconditions

The student/ parent/ guardian hereby agree that the Company may use name, photographs, videos of me and/or my child for publicity in all kinds of media. In addition, AESL also reserves the right to record video-audio testimonial of me and/or my child for the purpose of referencing or promotion, as required by the Company before or after the iACST exam is conducted for the purpose of publicity in all kinds of media.
